Unit- 5 Campaign Kick Off!!
On 5th October 2010 we started unit 5- Campaign, another one of Creative and Media Level 2 Diploma's seven units. We went through the aims and objectives of this project. In this project we will come to know how propaganda is used to promote products. Raise awareness, influence, educate and provide public service. In this project we will also find out how companies, individuals or organisations vary to each other and how do they affect today’s society. Today we started looking at http://www.detouch.org/ a website, where all different types of images of people are put up taken from companies, for us to see how photographs are manipulated via Photoshop(and also with the help of other software programs) to enhance certain features or completely change one's appearance and individuality. To set standards that does not even exist and expectations (especially for women) in the real world.
